About Juan

Juan Garcia is a multimedia artist from Oxnard, California. At heart, he is first and foremost a graphic designer, but he still manages to implement elements from his biggest passion into other mediums such as oil paint and sculpture. In his work, Juan explores the weird as he decides to embrace that part of him that he subdued for so long. His works play with the stream of consciousness, and inner worlds all while making art with a splash of humor. He makes these art pieces with the intent to create and tell his absurd narratives that give the viewer a piece of his inner thoughts. Juan gets his inspiration for most of his work from surrealist art, past experiences, and his surroundings.
